As a spiritual person, I always seek to understand the universe beyond this earthly life. My journey began when Lord Hanuman came into my life, leading me to visit his avatar at Kainchi Dham (Ashram of Neem Karoli Baba). I purchased a book called “The Miracle of Love,” compiled by Ram Dass, which is a collection of the life events of Neem Karoli Baba in Kainchi Dham. After reading this spiritual book, I came across the ‘Autobiography of a Yogi’ while contemplating whether there’s something beyond this planet. I found my answer in this book.

I learned through the internet that ‘Autobiography of a Yogi’ held great significance for Steve Jobs, who made it a yearly tradition to read it and kept it as the only book on his iPad.

The fact that it was also the last gift given to attendees at his memorial intrigued me even further and this inspired me to explore the pages of ‘Autobiography of a Yogi’ by Paramhansa Yogananda, and I’m truly grateful that I did.

First published in 1946, this timeless book documents the author’s spiritual journey and imparts profound insights into consciousness and the universe. After immersing myself in its pages, I found myself appreciative of the profound wisdom it shared.

Journey to Kainchi Dham: A Spiritual Awakening


I went to a place where notable figures like Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, and Julia Roberts have been visited. However, my journey there wasn’t spurred by their visits, but rather by a deep spiritual calling I felt towards the temple. This place, known as Kainchi Dham, is dedicated to a saint named Neem Karoli Baba, who passed away in 1973. He is believed to be the incarnation of Lord Hanuman and is revered by various names.

The Hanuman Chalisa: A Sacred Invocation

My connection to this place began in March 2022 when I was introduced to the Hanuman Chalisa, a sacred mantra penned by Tulsi Das in praise of Lord Hanuman, by a spiritual mentor. I incorporated chanting it alongside the name “Lord Ram” (Lord Hanuman is great devotee of Lord Ram) into my daily morning meditation and worship rituals, even observing fasting on Tuesdays, dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Over the following months, I underwent a transformation that led me to adopt a vegan lifestyle and fostered a deeper sense of compassion and service towards others.

The Revered Saint: Neem Karoli Baba

In 2023, I stumbled upon a picture of Neem Karoli Baba on Instagram, igniting my curiosity and prompting me to delve into his life and the history of Kainchi Dham. From that moment on, I harbored a strong desire to visit the place, despite the physical absence of the saint. My initial plans to visit in March were thwarted by a visa appointment, and subsequent attempts in October were hindered by landslides in the hilly region.

Finally, in December, I secured my visa and made the journey to Kainchi Dham before departing for the USA in January. The serenity of the place enveloped me as I felt the strong vibrations, as though Baba’s presence lingered within the temple. I spent hours chanting the Hanuman Chalisa and reflecting, emotionally moved as I stood by the very bed where he once imparted teachings about Lord Ram. In that poignant moment, his words echoed in my mind: “I have come to meet you.”


Still today, he is with me in the US. With his blessing, I acquired the courage and determination towards shifting in new culture and facing the drawbacks. Now, I am confident that I can achieved the things I want with his blessings. Remember that “our faiths can move mountains”.

In a fast-paced world where multitasking is celebrated, it’s easy to get caught up in a flurry of activities, thinking it’s the way to succeed. But what if I told you that this busy lifestyle might actually hold you back instead of propelling you forward?

Let’s go back to 2018, when I faced a setback—a visa rejection for my dream of studying Information Technology in Australia. Instead, I ended up studying Bachelor of Business Administration in Nepal. As the semester progressed, I discovered a new passion for entrepreneurship. I wanted to start a side business that would complement my studies without overwhelming me. And so began my journey into the realm of online business.

By 2019, my side hustle had become my main focus. I was fully immersed in managing social media, handling product deliveries, and every other aspect of my venture. However, this intense dedication came with a price—I noticed my academic performance slipping.

In 2020: Seeking Balance Amidst Chaos

Then, 2020 arrived, bringing the chaos of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the midst of it all, I found comfort in the stock market, seeking refuge in learning a new skill during the downtime. While it was fulfilling, it didn’t quite match the excitement of entrepreneurship for me.
